This event is a good one for all the family with show jumping and other equestrian events. There will also be a dog show and other entertainment such as a vintage machinery display as well as traditional potato picking. There will be a few educational displays as well....

Queen Maeve International Summer School Festival of Irish Music and Song takes place in I.T. Ballinode, Sligo Town.
This summer school is a week long series of master, advanced, intermediate and beginners classes in sean nos singing, tinwhistle, fiddle, flute, mixed instruments, bodhran and other instruments.
Also during the night time recitals, music sessions, singing sessions and a grand finale concert are held in the town.

This band was formed in 1990 and consists of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments which enable the band to perform in the musical genres of classical, jazz, blues, pop, marches and big band. The Brussels Concert Band was founded over a century before that and currently numbers some 50 musicians. These two bands have committed to collaborative events to promote international ties and a sense of musical community in Europe....
